Immediate start, critical leadership Leasing Manager role within state govt. min 6 months, perm potential

**Your new role**
This role will see you responsible for leading a team of 5 direct reporting managers and a broader team of 17 who oversee multiple functions including;
- Managing approx. 1,000 leased-in properties from the private sector for the dept.
- Managing contracts with a number of third party providers consisting of approx. 7,000 properties (contract and performance management activities) and
- Developing and growing commercial property portfolio (telco, retail, residential, etc).

Day to day your role will involve strong leadership and change management to navigate through the implementation of a number of recent system/tool enhancements of various service delivery models, execute leasing strategies.

**What you'll need to succeed**
In addition to your tertiary qualification in Property, Valuations or Project Management, the key to your success in this role will be;
- Strong background in property and lease management including demonstrated contract management and knowledge of the framework of the Victorian government land policies
- Demonstrated experience leading a team (including through change)
- knowledge of leasing/licensing activities (preferably in a Gov environment), and
- A high degree of professionalism and resilience and exceptional communication abilities
