**Your Role**:
As the Applications Technical Specialist within HR and Payroll you responsible for providing the enhancement, maintenance, and support of the Oracle Applications in the areas of Human Resources and Payroll.
Your role will develop Oracle Application or Cloud solutions including the design, development, testing, deployment and support of custom extensions and the integration with 3rd party and legacy systems.
**Your Duties and Background**:
- You will translate business requirements, solution design and user requirements defined in functional specifications into technical specifications and technical artefacts
- You will build, test, and deploy technical components adhering to System Development Life Cycle, Development Standards, Guidelines and Agile Framework
- You will prepare technical documentation and other relevant project documentation
- You will develop data and business models and data item content relevant to the assignment
- You will identify risks and issues with appropriate handling and escalation to meet business needs
- You will provide technical leadership and direction to peers to effectively manage operational issues to ensure continuous effective service delivery
- You will foster and sustain strategic partnerships across teams, Directorates, the wider agencies and external agencies
**Your Desirable Criteria**:
Experience and qualities within
- Experience with Oracle development tools
- High-level understanding of Oracle Applications Development Standards and Methodologies.
- Experience with Fast Formula in the HR and Payroll space, including proven experience in defining and creating solutions.
- Experience as a Technical Analyst working with Oracle Applications including experience in implementations and upgrades
- Functional knowledge of Oracle Application modules such as HR, Payroll, Self Service Human Resources and Oracle Time and labour
