As the Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of our employees, managing all aspects of payroll, including processing, reconciliations and reporting. You will work closely with our HR team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Processing of fortnightly payroll on an end-to-end basis to ensure all employees are paid accurately and on time each pay period
- Manage timely and accurate reporting to support the business
- Ensuring relevant awards are adhered to
- Communicate effectively with all levels in the business including store teas and senior management, always in a professional and courteous manner
- Working collaboratively with the payroll team and the rest of the business to process pay effectively and efficiently
- Ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Payroll Manager

**The Successful Applicant**:
To be a successful applicant, you will have:

- 2 years recent experience in a payroll officer role
- Previous experience working with time and attendance systems
- Intermediate excel skills with proficiency in VLookups and Pivot tables
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of modern awards and EBAs
- Competent data entry skills with focus on speed and accuracy
