We are looking for a Brand Manager - Foods who will Lead and execute the development and implementation of local brand plans in Australia and New Zealand to achieve long and short term business goals. This role leads new project development and execution across ANZ, working closely with key agencies, customer development teams and relevant global teams. Also, builds productive working relationships with customer development, consumer insights team, global category team, finance and supply chain to manage the brand’s day-to-day operations and key annual activities.
Role Responsibilities:
- Co-leads the category and brand/s vision with marketing manager and internal/external stakeholders.- Leads the development of the Brand Marketing Plans by identifying the brand’s key issues and opportunities using:
- consumer knowledge & understanding-
- the drivers of brand growth and business performance-
- leveraging global best practice and learnings-
- Leads the execution of the integrated activity schedule. Devotes attention to ensuring consistency across the Brand Key Vision and developing overall communication strategy across Snacking portfolio. Responsible for leading and deliver key elements of the implementation of brand marketing initiatives including working with agency partners.- Project managing multiple innovation initiatives consecutively and ensuring OTIF delivery across Food NPD Agenda, with ability to support across global brand projects.- Works with relevant stakeholders to develop and launch NPD artworks with consumer insights at the core of development.- Creates and executes agency briefs for, POS material production (aligned with Brand visuals), Media plans (including Digital), PR.- Strong focus on leveraging data sources to develop insights for future local brand growth opportunities, including monthly brand performance analysis, market share commentary and tracking and owner’s mindset for brand performance.- Demonstrates an ability to set relevant KPIs for key activities that consider measuring ROI. Provides recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness based on performance monitoring.- Controls and guarantees 100% accuracy of budget spend and provides timely communication to relevant stakeholders on overspending / funds availability.
