Infrastructure Manager

Permanent Full-time Position
- Flexible work location across Melbourne CBD office & garden regions.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 6:40am - 3:10pm

**About the role**

The Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for the successful operational management of fixed assets (non-horticultural) and Infrastructure in the Melbourne Parks & Gardens Contract. This role leads the infrastructure team, ensuring the effective delivery of Asset and Infrastructure improvement programs via the Annual Service Plan, including but not limiting to:

- Cyclical and reactive maintenance
- Delivery of internal and external improvements/upgrades
- Management of contract variations; and,
- Maintaining accurate asset and infrastructure data

In addition, the role involves managing project budgets and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, Parks Services Branch and the City of Melbourne. Working with the HSE Coordinator, mitigate identified risks as far as practicable while ensuring the highest level of safety and integrity are met at all times. The position is flexible in terms of location, allowing the ability to work across the Melbourne Parks and Gardens CBD offices and garden spaces.

As the Infrastructure Project Manager for Melbourne Parks & Gardens you will have demonstrated experience in Project Management and team leadership. You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, possess the ability to manage a team effectively and manage your own work schedule to meet deadlines. Additionally, you will manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including subcontractors. You will ensure that services provided are of the highest quality, safe, client focused and support/promote business objectives. Importantly you will lead with personal integrity and bring a positive can-do attitude to the team.

To be successful in this role you will have:_**

**_ Essential Criteria_**
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Current Driver’s License
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in team leadership and Project Management
- Tertiary in Business or Operational Management and/or Building Trade
- Must be passionate, proactive, committed and able to work unsupervised
- Possess attention to detail and a high energy level
- Undertakes duties in a safe and responsible manner
- Excellent computer system skills, written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of people from the general public to senior managers
