**About the role**
- Reporting and working closely with the Chief Technology Officer (Head of IT), you will inspire, lead and motivate a small team by setting clear visions to achieve their potential.
- In this newly created role as the Manager, IT Infrastructure, you will be a key member of the Information Technology team and work in close partnership with peers across information technology, innovation and projects, business leaders and external technology providers.

**Key responsibilities**
- Manage the operation, monitoring, and optimisation of VMIA's infrastructure, hosted in a multi cloud tenancy (Azure / AWS)
- infrastructure services
- You priorities and provide expert level hands-on support for high-priority incidents and proactively address service risks or degradation
- Identify opportunities to automate infrastructure processes using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, (or equivalent tools).
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure improvements.
- Contribute to the development of IT strategies and roadmaps that support organisational objectives. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in IT Infrastructure and Operations and function as a thought leader to the Chief Technology Officer (Head of IT).

**Who you work with**
- IT Service Desk and support functions, Project teams and business stakeholders, Other IT functions.

**What we are looking for**
- Strong experience in systems administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior-level role.
- Highly experienced and knowledge of Windows Server, Azure (IaaS, PaaS), Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.
- A problem solver and proven experience in managing and resolving escalations.
- Exposure to cyber security, identity management, and infrastructure monitoring tools
- Excellent communicator, a visionary to inspire and lead.

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure technologies - Azure Administrator (AZ-104) and/or Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305).
- Industry based accreditation such as ITIL.
