Our client, a leading organisation experiencing exciting growth, is undergoing a strategic finance transformation to support their future endeavors. A key aspect of this transformation involves the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365. To ensure a seamless integration and optimize its use, they are seeking a highly motivated Finance Transformation Specialist to join their newly formed team for a 6-month contract.

In this pivotal role, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between the business and finance functions, fostering informed decision-making, and specifically focusing on the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Contribute significantly to the ongoing finance transformation: Align the strategic direction for Finance in terms of People, Process, and Systems, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance team: Understand their requirements related to Microsoft Dynamics 365, address pain points, and deliver business objectives through the new system.
- Champion process and system improvements: Drive initiatives to streamline operations and enhance efficiency, leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Work alongside technical specialists: Liaise with IT professionals to ensure smooth system configuration and data migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Develop training materials and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT): Equip the finance team with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize the new system.

**Skills & experience**
- 5+ years of experience: Demonstrated expertise in Project/Integration/Finance roles.
- Accounting qualifications preferred: CPA/CA qualification is a strong asset.
- Project management proficiency: Proven ability to manage projects effectively.
- Technical aptitude: Experience with systems configuration and testing, preferably related to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Understanding of financial processes: Knowledge of core financial functions and their translation into the functionalities of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Strong interpersonal skills: The ability to build relationships, negotiate, influence, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
