What you’ll be doing

SilverChef is looking for a driven Spare Parts and Warranties Officer to join our team and support the hospitality equipment asset base for SilverChef. In this role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating our hospitality equipment spare parts inventory and managing warranty claims for our team. You will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders including warehouse team members across our three facilities in Australia.

**Your main duties include**:

- Manage and maintain the spare parts inventory
- Help customers identify, problem-solve, and troubleshoot warranty issues and order spare parts
- Maintain accurate records and reports within our systems and liaise with the SilverChef Sales team for updates on timeframes.
- Build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders including service technicians and suppliers
- Work with the warehouse team members to optimize spare parts inventory and improve processing timelines
- Support the improvement of current procurement and service processes

**Skills and experience**:

- In depth knowledge of the procurement process, preferably within the hospitality equipment industry
- Outstanding team player who can also work autonomously
- Inventive approach to problem-solving and ability to work well under pressure
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Understanding of hospitality equipment - technical experience is highly valued
