The Cyber Engineering team, a part of the wider Group Security Technology function, provides security controls and services that are utilised across the group. The team is responsible for the delivery of effective security services and continuous assurance over enterprise security controls within the bank and across its group entities.

**Do Work that matters**:
You are a Senior Engineering Manager who wants to contribute to the building and supporting of multiple products and squads to uplift new integration services across the group. You will lead a team of expert cyber security engineers, while supporting and guiding internal and external stakeholders and the availability / stability of our products.

Besides leadership, this role will see you offer your technical guidance on a variety of security projects across a complex and large-scale cyber security landscape. We will rely on your expertise to improve the platforms, processes, and tools.

You will also:

- Manage a medium to large team of onshore engineers to support squad outcomes
- Work with product owners and internal customers to define product roadmaps
- Enable automation and self-service onboarding across our products
- Enable data driven insights and decisions to be made across security source systemsProvide technical leadership to internal and external stakeholders

**We are interested in hearing from people who**
- Have experience in leading large-scale enterprise projects across a complex security landscape and will bring similar expertise and technical knowhow to the organisation.
- Have demonstrated experience in managing large data engineering or API engineering projects.
- Proven technical/people leadership experience in a similar role.
- Management of people supporting their development and managing their capacity across multiple squads
- Excellent communication skills, engaging with all levels of business.Experience in Cyber Security Products and Technology design across infrastructure, cloud, data and networks.

**Technical Skills**:

- Python, Github, Terraform, Spark, Ab Initio
- AWS, AWS native data platforms, Hadoop
