**The Role**
The Amphibious Combat and Sealift Systems Program Office is responsible for the sustainment of the Landing Ship Dock and Landing Helicopter Dock ships. The organisation delivers Asset Management, Engineering, Maintenance and Supply Support services to ensure the ships are available to Navy in a seaworthy state.
The EL1 Logistics Manager applies their leadership skills and logistics management experience to ensure service delivery, to assure compliance with logistics policies and to identify and implement improvement initiatives.
**About our Team**
The EL1 Logistics Manager leads the Supply Support team, which is an integrated team of Defence and Industry personnel. The team is responsible for delivering a range of materiel logistics functions within the Defence policy framework, including inventory investment planning, inventory procurement, repairable item management, inventory allowance management and warehouse management.
Key attributes and experience we are looking for:
- Demonstrated logistics management experience;
- Thorough knowledge of logistics policies, procedures and practices;
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, including strong emotional intelligence, resilience and adaptability;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders;
- High level organisational skills, self-drive and initiative with the ability to influence others to achieve tasks and business objectives.
