We are looking for a vibrant, go-getter to fill our **Group Sales, Events & Reservations Manager** role. This is a high energy, dynamic role where no two days are the same. You will be leading a small passionate events team who love what they do. They will look to you for leadership as well as your willingness to roll up your sleeves to support them when required.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Group General Manager and Directors; the Group Sales, Events & Reservations Manager will drive event sales across the group's 6 venues across Port Stephens, Newcastle and Western Sydney. This role is based in Port Stephens at Shoal Bay Country Club across from the stunning Shoal Bay Beach. Witness amazing sunrises, sunsets, and enjoy free lunch daily at The Patio You will also be required to travel to the other venues at times.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Managing all sales enquiries and client communication across company portfolio and convert business in line with company sales strategies
- Managing sales & event systems and procedures; specifically, iVvy and ResDiary
- Taking a proactive approach and ability to tailor sales strategies to current climate. Working closely with Group Marketing Manager to ensure company strategies are at the forefront of market trends.
- Developing and reviewing sales strategies to maximise sales opportunities and reach sales targets
- Lead, motivate and train staff to improve customer service with clients
- Building strong client and supplier relationships
- Drafting detailed and accurate weekly sales reports for key stakeholders
- Working closely with each venue General Manager to create key calendar event date offerings. Managing internal team to ensure coordination and execution are at the highest level.
- Coordinate site visits with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered

**About you**:
You are a positive, motivated and passionate individual possessing the following key attributes:

- At least three years experience in a similar role
- Confident and professional written and verbal communication
- Thrive in a fast paced environment
- Excellent personal presentation
- Driven and work well under pressure
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
- Back-end Resdiary and iVvy experience essential
- Proficient ability to multi task
- Own reliable car is essential
