**Role Description/Criteria**

Commencing Term I, 2025 is an opportunity for an outstanding and innovative educator to join a vibrant learning community in the Mathematics Faculty with excellence at its core.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience and demonstrated achievements teaching Mathematics up to VCE level.

**In particular, the College seeks an experienced teacher to lead a successful Mathematics faculty as POL3 - Faculty Head of Mathematics, Years 7-9.**

The Faculty Head of Mathematics, Years 7-9 collaborates with the Faculty Head of Mathematics, Years 10-12 and the Deputy Principal, Learning and Teaching to provide pedagogical and organisational leadership to the College.

The Faculty Head of Mathematics, Years 7-9 helps shape the College’s vision and goals for learning, and actively promote the learning and teaching policy, with a focus on Visible Learning and the High Impact Teaching Strategies.

Ultimately, the Faculty Head of Mathematics, Years 7-9 will empower the teachers within their faculty, utilising a rich harvest of data to ensure that students receive outstanding teaching to fulfill their true potential.
