**Join the team**

You will report to the General Manager of Merchandise and lead a team of 70 creatives across our Apparel and General Merchandise business. This team have built strong partnerships across our merchandise and sourcing teams and support each other daily to deliver outstanding results.

**What you’ll be doing**

As the Head of Design and Forecast working for Kmart you will:

- Be forecasting trends at a micro and macro level, to develop great products that make everyday living brighter for our customers
- Develop and implement the Design strategy and vision across the business, using your exceptional taste, with alignment to Kmart’s brand aesthetic, to continue to drive customer love for Kmart
- Love working at pace, be agile with our suppliers and have a bold mindset when it comes to the creation of new products, to ensure we meet the expectations of our customers

**To be successful in this role you’ll have**:

- Strong leadership and values, that makes the Design function a great place to work and grow together
- The ability to influence and collaborate with a diverse group of senior stakeholders across our merchandise and sourcing teams, including General Managers
- A commercial mindset and love for data, that has the customer at the heart of all decision making
- A way of working that can simplify complexity in our operating model and critical paths
