An exciting opportunity has opened for a Technical & Applications Support Lead to join a leading Australian manufacturer located in a new facility in Western Sydney with an enviable record for continuous growth through developing and supplying innovative products in both residential and commercial markets.

**About the Opportunity**
- Level 3 helpdesk support covering infrastructure, servers, desktops, mobile devices, fixed telephony, printers and A/V equipment
- Primary vendor liaison including the initiation, monitoring, escalation and resolution of support and configuration requests
- Routine system monitoring of all systems, including response and resolution of alerts
- Proactive system maintenance, including software patching and anti-virus updates
- Continually improve IT Operations through the automation of routine tasks
- Proposing new or updated technology and processes to improve the resilience, stability and security of our core infrastructure
- Promote multi-skilling of the IT Team by adopting a Mentor role

Experience Required:

- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar
- Experience with:

- Azure administration
- Windows Server (2008 +) system administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, etc.)
- Hardware support (laptops, desktops, iPads, mobile phones)
- Patching and deployment (including WSUS, PDQ etc.)
- Networking (Wired, Wireless)
- Telephony and mobile device experience (Mitel Preferred)
- SQL Server Administration

Personal Attributes:
To be successful in the role you’ll have a strong attention to detail with fantastic stakeholder engagement experience (both IT & non IT stakeholders). You will also have the ability to engage and upskill junior staff through a mentoring approach sharing your technical knowledge, demonstrating ethical behaviour and customer service focus.
