**About the Role**

The Bilingual Workforce Team Leader is responsible for the recruitment and development of the workforce nationally, driving engagement & quality delivery and creating new opportunities. This role also supervises the Customer and Workforce Support Officers who provide frontline support to internal and external stakeholders as well as the Bilingual Workforce.

Team Leaders will ensure the workforce meets the business changing needs using insights from data and via continual consultation and will support the team to ensure the workforce is being utilised effectively and efficiently.
- Lead the Customer and Workforce Support officers in monitoring and reporting key trends in scheduling, shift shortfalls, recurrent shift vacancies, and other scheduling efficiency measures to identify labour shortages
- Analysing gaps and identifying recruitment needs for the existing team according to bilingual workers’ skills demanded by internal and external clients.
- Manage feedback from customers, identifying trends and creating opportunities to improve service experience
- Further developing and implementing the Bilingual Workforce induction modules, on-the job learning material and other related materials
- Provide supervision to the diverse workforce, supporting team members’ learning and career development pathways.
- Reporting to Senior Leadership regarding workforce engagement, growth of the brokerage service, challenges, and opportunities.
- Lead the development of work procedures, business rules & guidelines to support staff and clients

**Essential Criteria**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a Community Services or Human Resource Management related area (or minimum of 5 years’ experience in one of these sectors may be considered).
- Proven ability to lead teams, providing supervision, career progression support and performance development opportunities
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with strategic stakeholders and develop customer engagement.
- Understanding of the community services sector and the importance of bi-cultural, in language support for CALD communities.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and facilitate professional development/learning sessions
- Proven ability to work in a high paced and constantly changing environment, achieving outcomes within timeframes
- Experience facilitating training sessions for groups, face to face and online would be desirable.
