As we continue to grow as a business, we are expanding our finance team. We are actively seeking a Payroll Officer to join our finance team bring with them payroll expertise, strong attention to detail and time management. This is a hybrid role with a mix of in office at our new William Street head office, along with working from home.

**About the Payroll Officer role;**
- Preparation for 8 payrolls, 3 fortnightly and 5 monthly.
- Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information for provision to third party processor.
- Preparation employees’ compensation by the end of each month and report to HSE.
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately by reviewing payroll with senior team prior to payment.
- Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, and non-taxable wages and preparing reports for management.
- Determination of payroll liabilities including relevant employment taxes, and employee leave liabilities.
- Resolving any payroll discrepancies as they arise.
- Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- Proven work experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and accounting software.
- Strong mathematical and Excel Skills to identify numerical errors.
- Time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- BSc in Accounting, Human Resources or relevant field.
