**Your New Role**:
As the **Child Safe Support Officer,** you will provide effective support to ensure compliance with NSW Child Safe standards for members and volunteers.
**The **Child Safe Support Officer** will**:
- Provide administrative support to the Safeguarding & MVRO Teams to ensure accurate reporting for child safe compliance for members and volunteers.
- Work collaboratively with Safeguarding staff to identify any compliance issues and deliver resolutions.
- Support the implementation of the Society’s Safeguarding Children Policy Framework.
- Provide reports on child safe compliance for members and volunteers.
- Ensure that all documentation on child safe compliance is accurate, up-to-date and confidentially stored.
- Contribute to the implementation of effective risk management protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, employment and governance requirements.
**To be successful, you will need**:
- Relevant experience in a project-based work environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident with Excel and data management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, and adjust priorities as required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
