You will lead and mentor a team of skilled professionals, while partnering with other senior leaders to drive our business's growth and success. **Key Responsibilities**: - Work with the Partner and the team to ensure client work is completed within the timeframe allocated - Complete income tax returns for individuals, company’s, trusts, partnerships and super funds within the assigned deadline and productivity target. - Identify if the client has complied with the superannuation guarantee. - Preparation of annual workers compensation reconciliations. - Preparation of annual payroll tax reconciliations. - Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS). - Preparation of Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) returns including the calculation of liability from the information provided by the client. - Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC **Selection Criteria** To ensure your success, in addition to sharing our purpose and values, you will be a team player with professional level communication and interpersonal skills and be driven to find win-win solutions for our clients. Capabilities: - Identify any inconsistencies in the current year balances through comparative analysis on balance sheet items. - Prepare financial statements from an adjusted trial balance, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and statements of retained earnings. - Access and research information, including the use of electronic sources (Thomson Reuters on-line and the OSR and ATO websites). - Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. - A desire to mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential. - The ability to work independently and collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
