Our client is a Council located on the Melbourne city fringe, are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Systems & Analytics Officer to join their team on a short-term contract basis.

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and enhance the Council's HR system (Aurion) to ensure it is accurate and up to date
- Provide analytical and reporting support to the HR team and the wider Council
- Design and deliver HR reports to support decision making
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and metrics to measure and track HR performance
- Provide support to the HR team on HR system-related issues
- Provide guidance and training to employees on how to use the HR system

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience with Aurion essential
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a Council or government environment
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management and organisational skills
