Position Summary

The role requires someone who is highly-organised, process-oriented, comfortable supporting senior leadership and can adapt to a changing environment.

Critically, a can-do attitude and problem-solving skills will help this person succeed within the dynamic, team environment where they will need to prioritise multiple activities and manage various stakeholders. Supervise and support the current senior leadership team to complete their tasks efficiently and effectively. Assist to clear the road-blocks by communicating with other divisions effectively.

The role requires someone who can perform a wide range of administrative and is knowledgeable on all office support activities for not only the VP but the leadership team to facilitate the efficient operation of the business division. Importantly, they will be required to learn Samsung’s systems and processes to ensure the team is supported.

This role is hired under our Samsung partnered recruitment agency and not directly hired under Samsung Australia.

Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the diary of the senior leaders
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, workshops, and trainings senior team members
- Arrange complex domestic and overseas travel bookings; raise internal travel approvals
- Liaise with external stakeholders on sponsored travel and events coordinating all logistics
- Coordinate event experiences for customers to attend unpacked events
- Prepare agendas and schedules for meetings; ensure actions are submitted within timeframes
- Coordinate inter-department meetings and liaise with key stakeholders
- Organise meeting logistics such as room bookings, catering and VC bookings
- Organise Leadership Team meetings, dinners and events
- Prepare presentations using PowerPoint
- Supervise and assist with ad hoc projects as required
- Other duties as requested by the Senior EA and Senior Leadership Team

Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

- Prior experience in a Team Assistant or Senior Administration role within a large corporate environment
- Executive Assistant experience is highly preferable but not essential
- Ability to effectively manage competing demands and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A collaborative team-focused mindset with strong work ethics
- Flexible approach and adaptable to change in a dynamic work environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling mutiple tasks
- Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Office
- Comfortable in working with various internal systems
