Convergint is looking for a part-time, enthusiastic, results driven and customer focused Payroll Administrator to join our amazing team. The position is a 3 day a week office-based position with standard business hours. Some flexibility may be required during payroll deadlines and audits.

The Role

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and supporting related administrative tasks. This role involves maintaining payroll records, assisting employees with payroll-related inquiries, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and organisational policies.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assist in preparing and processing payroll for all employees
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system
  • Assist with preparation of payroll reports and audits as required
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, legislative requirements and regulations pertaining to Payroll
  • Respond to employee inquires, regarding payroll, deductions and payments
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in payroll administration or a related role.
  • Hight attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet payroll deadlines
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Solid knowledge of Outlook; Excel skills
  • Experience with Employment Hero payroll system are highly preferred
  • Security or Construction industry experience are highly preferred
  • Understanding of payroll laws, regulations
  • Knowledge of and understanding of Industrial Instruments, Awards, Enterprise Agreements
