**WHY YOU WANT THIS ROLE**
Our client is an ASX listed exploration company with several portfolio projects across Australia. Experienced across all facets in the mining and resources sector, with a high level of respect and strong values.
The office is quiet and productivity is high. It is based in West Perth (the hub of mining) with easily accessible public transport and parking.
**WHAT ARE YOU IN FOR?**
To put it as simply as possible, your role is to ensure the office hums. You will be the glue that keeps the business together. Being proactive and staying one step ahead will be the key to success in this role. You will be the face of the business, whether that be greeting visitors or conversing with the local barista for the daily coffee run. Along with this you will be responsible for:
- Support all facets of the business with various administrative tasks (mail, event catering, meeting bookings and set-up)
- Assisting HR with onboarding medicals, induction, onboarding
- Corporate travel management
- Facilitate conference bookings including banners, both, logistics
- Manage suppliers and keep up to date with renewal
- Maintain the website and social media presence
- Administration related to tenements and land access register maintenance
- Provide IT support and liaise with off site support
- Manage office facilities and supplies
- Coordinate and arrange catering for social events
- AGM meeting set up and coordination
- Preparation of Board Packs
**THE NITTY GRITTY**
We’re looking for someone who is incredibly organised and deadline aware; you must be a forward planner, who can use your initiative to mitigate risk before problems occur (a magician) You’re calm in stressful situations and have a positive attitude toward even the most mundane of tasks. We are also seeking:
- Experience as an Office Manager or Executive Assistant
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with Boards
- Mining exploration experience is preferred but not essential
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly with document preparation and formatting
