Due to an increase in construction projects in the Metro Melbourne Area. The key responsibility for this role is to implement and champion the Work Health, Safety and Environment Management System (WHSMS) on unique critical home builds supporting our Site Managers.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Implement Work Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems (WHSMS) and assist with its compliance
- Facilitate amendments and provide guidance to OH&S implementation process at site level
- Complete reporting on WHS performance and provide WHS advice to the Site Managers, with consideration to due diligence obligations
- Identify WHS training requirements for the VIC Business Unit site staff
- Assist with assessment of subcontractor documentation/new contractor pack submissions
- Facilitate workplace inspections and internal audits, while monitoring compliance to the incident reporting and investigation process; and
- Contribute and adopt ideas and that improve the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the overall WHS function.

- Completed Diploma Occupational Health and Safety
- Residential construction experience is a MUST
- Completed and hold a White Card, trade or scaffold ticket
- Completed qualifications in a First Aid Certificate
- Currently hold a valid driver’s licence
- Experience within a similar role within the construction industry
- Extensive knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety Management Systems and relevant WHS Acts and Regulations, Compliance Codes and Codes of Practices, Australian Standards and Guidance Materials
- High computer proficiency in MS Office suite of products including report writing ability; and
- Graduates may be considered.

**This role requires a national police check and medical check to be undertaken.
