**Our client is a highly successful, innovative service and asset operator using their extensive expertise in contract management, systems, infrastructure, finance, WH&S, and risk management. They are looking for an experienced WHS Manager to provide advice and support regarding WHS and enterprise risk management.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The key responsibilities of this permanent full-time position include:

- Deploy WHS and Enterprise Risk Management systems, policies and procedures that support operations and are aligned to the relevant ISO standards as well as stakeholder expectations and requirements.
- Ensure that the WHS system meets statutory requirements.
- Maintain WHS and Risk Management reporting for board/relevant authorities including positive safety indicator reporting to the Board.
- Undertake regular review, auditing and analysis of key WHS activities across the business and identify areas of improvement.
- Maintain Emergency Management / Business Continuity plans. Test and review these plans with the involvement of key internal and external stakeholders to ensure organisational readiness with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Provide advice and undertake regular reviews with risk owners to ensure that they have effective internal controls and are identifying and delivering management actions across the Group’s risk management framework.
- Provide support in relation to the administration, identification, measurement, control and review of strategic and operational risk registers, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and integrated as part of day-to-day operations and strategies.
- Manage and coordinate the annual ISO certification audit programs.
- Provide direction and support in relation to the administration, identification, measurement, control and review of strategic and operational risk registers, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and integrated as part of day-to-day operations and strategies.
- Manage the quarterly review and reporting of the company’s risk registers, including Executive Leadership Team engagement in relation to changes, and preparation of quarterly risk updates for the Board.
- Monitor and maintain a register for compliance against operating agreement obligations, and coordinate reporting responsibilities, as required.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Degree in Science/WHS/Risk Management or equivalent. Certification audit experience is desirable.
- Proven experience in deployment of WHS and Enterprise Risk Management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate and negotiate in the external and internal environments.
- Expertise in managing multiple stakeholders and communications in diverse, internal and external environments.
- Demonstrated experience in risk management, incident management, undertaking complex investigations and preparing comprehensive reports and recommendations.
