Based in our fun, family environment Mount Waverley Head Office, maintain Metricon’s National WHS Management Systems as well as provide operational administrative support and assistance for the Corporate WHS function.

Reporting to the General Manager, Workplace Health & Safety, your responsibilities will include:

- Maintenance of the Metricon National WHS Management System documentation
- Be corporate champion for Lucidity safety management software including technical support and administration. (Training provided)
- Provide administrative and operational support to the General Manager - WHS and Corporate WHS function
- Ensuring integrity of WHS statistical data and reporting information
- Drafting of WHS training materials and communications for WHS corporate function
- Be the primary point of initial contact for National WHS function enquiries
- Provide WHS administrative support for tender submissions and procurement activities including subcontractor assessment
- Support WHS project management programs and their implementation nationally; and
- Chief Fire Warden for Metricon Head Office.

- The role to be based at Metricon Head office but with ability for occasional intra and interstate travel to other Metricon sites if required
- Understanding of Workplace Health & Safety Management Systems, structure and implementation
- A tertiary qualification at Cert IV Level or above in Workplace Health & Safety or actively working towards this
- A knowledge and understanding of the relevant OHS & WHS Acts and Regulations, Compliance Codes and Codes of Practices, Standards and Guidance Materials
- High computer proficiency in MS Office suite of products and written report writing ability
- Demonstrate a strong desire for professional and personal self-development as well as long-term WHS career progression and embracing allocation of management responsibilities commensurate with this
- Demonstrable soft skillset and ability to successfully interact with internal and external customers and stakeholders at all operational levels.
- Able to maintain a strong customer focus and operational mindset
- Strong written and oral communication skills; and
- A GREAT ATTITUDE
