Rental Coordinator

UON is currently seeking experienced and self-motivated **Rental Coordinator** to join our team at **UON’s team in Malaga.**

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the General Manager at Energy, the Rental Coordinator is responsible for coordinate all Jobs of the rental business operations within the Energy division. You will be the driving lead responsible for manage and maintain all Energy jobs such as parts & service, labour hire, rental, projects ensuring the efficiency of the rental operations.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Identify critical client expectations and rapidly problem solve to resolve areas of non-conformance or complaints.
- Manage/ maintain all Energy jobs - Parts & service, labour hire, rental, projects.
- Engage with Clients for simpler solutions at an enquiry stage or site issues/change outs.
- Manage all Rental Labour costs including installation jobs and track all variances.
- Maintain all hire records and documentation associated with equipment/resource hire.
- All contract variations addressed and submitted on time.
- Timely management of customer recharge for damaged or misused equipment.
- Review/monitor direct costs.
- Utilise authority level to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement.
- Recommend asset procurement where possible to displace cross-hire.
- Ensure UON commercial interests are prioritised in all Energy transactions.
- Maintain and adhere to Operational closing procedure for all finalized job.
- Timely debtors management in conjunction with cost controller.
- Oversight on all transport and logistics activities.
- Manage all Energy in-direct costs in accordance with allocated annual budget.
- Be the visible, focal and/or escalation point for Client operations contacts, issues etc.
- Enhance client experience across the UON rental engagement process

**Skills & Experience**
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
- Proven experience in Energy Operations Co Ordinator roles preferably in an Energy environment for power generation and/or dewatering environment
- Technical experience in equipment manufacturing or maintenance or operation of a range of equipment
- Experienced with development and management of safety systems.
- Experience with Invoicing and commercial invoices.
- Communication skills (written/interpersonal)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- ability to use initiative and provide guidance to the team in reaching appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Organisational and time-management skills
