Great Southern Bank is seeking a new Manager, Security Governance to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. The Cyber Security Governance Manager role is crucial for bolstering the bank's cybersecurity posture by leading the development and implementation of comprehensive frameworks, awareness, third-party security review program and cyber testing co-ordination. You will be a key contributor to fostering a robust cyber security culture at Great Southern Bank. Through your leadership, the Bank will be well-positioned to address cyber threats, maintain compliance with regulations, and ensure the continued trust and security of our customers and members.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust cyber security governance framework in line with CPS 234 requirements.
- Conduct periodic reviews and updates of the framework to maintain its effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Legal teams to ensure contractual obligations related to cyber security are met.
- Lead cyber security governance forums to discuss emerging threats and best practices.
- Prepare regular reports on cyber security risk posture and mitigation efforts for presentation to the Board and relevant committees.
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of cyber security testing initiatives, including penetration testing and red/purple team assessments.
- Continuously improve the Bank's overall cyber security posture through ongoing analysis and integration with cyber security strategy.

**About you**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in regulated organisations in cyber security
- Proven experience in cyber security governance, particularly in banking or financial services, with a strong background in managing third-party security risks and compliance with industry regulations such as APRA’s CPS234 and CPG234.
- Experience in developing and enforcing cybersecurity policies, standards, and frameworks with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
- Creation and delivery of cyber awareness content including phishing simulations.
- Previous experience in preparing reports to senior management.
