**About Us**:
At the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), our primary responsibility is to provide support and guidance to the Premier and Cabinet to effectively deliver on the government's priorities, commitments, decisions, and objectives for the betterment of the community.
The ITS team comprises 34 staff and is a part of People and Services, within the Governance and Engagement Division. We provide IT support to the Department and to Ministerial Offices and the Office of the Leader of the Opposition and Premier, prioritising excellence in service provision and high performance.
**Your opportunity**:
The Manager, Cyber Security has overall responsibility for leading the cyber security team and the delivery, implementation, management and enhancement of the department's security practices and activities.
You will manage DPC's cyber uplift program to improve the resilience of the department and mature the Information Security Management System (ISMS) to further embed its practices through the department. Along with your team you will manage security operations and respond to threats and incidents to protect our information assets and enable the business to operate effectively.
**About you**:
You possess relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certifications in IT, cyber security, project management, risk management or related discipline as well as a broad understanding of the major trends, strategic directions and legislative and governance frameworks related to information security and the ability to adopt them to the agency's requirements.
