Our organization is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to manage and improve our customers' security governance, risk management, and compliance framework.
- Develop and enforce robust security policies, standards, and frameworks as per regulatory requirements.
- Perform regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and enhance overall security posture.
- Identify cyber security risks and implement effective security controls to safeguard our customers' digital assets.
- Conduct vulnerability management and threat detection to stay ahead of emerging threats.
- Monitor security event logs to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Cyber Security Assessment and Authorization (Accreditation) documentation suite.
- Assess security control effectiveness and recommend improvements.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in cyber security or information technology, or equivalent experience. Industry certifications such as CISA, ISO Lead Implementer/Auditor, or similar are desirable.
Australian Defense Force Reserve Service Policy eligibility is required for this position, as well as a SECRET (NV1) level Defense security clearance. If you believe you have the necessary skills and experience, please apply by attaching your resume.
