**This is where you come in**
The HSE Business partner is an autonomous role, supporting the operations leader and other key stakeholders at our Ingleburn and Somersby Factory’s. Working closely with Site and Operational Managers, you will enjoy coaching and supporting key operational teams to work strategically, managing risk and improving safety outcomes for the business. Strong communication and influencing skills will be critical to the success of this role. You will support key operational teams to work strategically, managing risk and improving health, safety and environmental outcomes for the business.
With the full support of the business, HSE team and site leaders this role will be intrinsic to support a thriving safety culture on site, supplying tools, coaching and expertise to a wide range of stakeholders to ensure our people go home safely.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Provide the information, instruction, training, and supervision necessary to ensure the health and safety of employees
- Provide input into the development and assistance in the execution of HSE improvement plans for the sites you support
- Collaborate positively with your local Site Leadership teams and broader HSE team colleagues in support of local and National HSE strategies and initiatives.
- Consult with employees about WH&S matters so that they can contribute to decisions affecting their health, safety and welfare
- Develop and take leadership for the sites HSE Risk Assessment programs by coaching employees in the risk assessment process
- Utilise your manufacturing experience and external research of practices to assess controls and investigate opportunities to make further HSE improvements
- Manage environmental data collection, analysis and reporting to meet NGERS’s and Environment Protection Authority (EPA) license conditions (Waste volumes, Energy Use and others)
- Provide support in incident investigations, identifying root causes and developing robust preventative actions and injury management.
- Experience in similar HSE roles in manufacturing or mass production environment
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience in the field of in WHS
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in the field of in Environmental Management is desirable
- Strong understanding of WHS principles & technical competencies
- Sound project management experience in driving the delivery of HSE projects as required
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), high level interpersonal skills and sound judgment
- Excellent stakeholder management, ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and handle competing priorities
- Proven ability to lead, influence and motivate others
- A motivated and practical thinker who can engage and partner with business leaders
- Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability effectively adapt plans to changing circumstances
- Problem solving skills with the ability to manage and resolve issues on the go
