As the Principal Business Support Officer (Finance), you will provide high level management and advice to support the Manager with administering and managing the social services service procurement and grant funding in accordance with legislative requirements and funding policy and procedures by: - Providing high level expertise in administering funding approvals, payments, recording, monitoring, reconciling, and reporting of funding paid to NGOs under the CSA and DSA and funding policy and procedures
- Analysing issues impacting the administration and management of the funding program, including the interpretation of complex data sets, and identify options and recommendations for remedying these issues in compliance with the FAA - Providing high level advice, including financial monitoring, analysis and interpretation, to Executive Directors, Directors, and Managers about funding administration management issues - Liaising, consulting and negotiating with service providers, regional staff, program staff and external stakeholders about the administration of the program funding and work collaboratively with staff to resolve complex funding issues and/or any outstanding requirements - Providing high level advice and support to program and contract management staff and NGOs to achieve sound management of funded NGOs
- Developing and implementing practices, processes, and systems to enhance efficient and effective administration of funding payments and approvals in accordance with legislative requirements and funding policy and procedures
- Preparing complex reports, audits, documents, presentations, executive briefs and correspondence as required. Supporting and helping maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.Applications to remain current for 12 months.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
