**About the program**:
**Requirements**:

- Working in collaboration with the System Safety Program Manager - UH-60M, the Software Assurance SME will:

- Identify and review Software Assurance Requirements associated with proposed changes as part of Software System Requirements Hazard Analysis (SRHA).
- Provide SME input to Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) as and when required, including the provision of advice associated with any potential for Systematic Common Mode Failures.
- Provide SME input to Sub-System Hazard Analysis (SSHA) and System Hazard Analysis (SHA) activities as and when required.
- Evaluate the System Software validation and verification risk mitigation measures, and management of associated risks in support of test events.
- Evaluate the of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Change Notices (CNs), Deficiency Reports, Mishaps, and Requests for Deviations and Waivers from a Software Assurance perspective.
- Define tests and demonstrations, or in using other verification methods on safety significant software functionality to verify compliance with safety requirements.
- Oversee and ensure that all Software Assurance activities are aligned with the requirements of the Airworthiness Design Requirements Manual, Section 2, Chapters 2 & 3 ‘System Safety’ & Aviation Software’ respectively.
- Guide the management of all software load control and criticality lists in-line with ‘Defence Aviation Safety Program Manual, Volume 2: Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR): DASR 21 - Aircraft Design, Production and Certification: Section A: Technical Requirements: SUBPART G: Military Production Organisation Approval: 21.A.165 - Obligations of the holder’.
