Leader, Compliance Delivery

**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Leader, Compliance & Delivery to join our Digital Solutions team in a full time permanent role.

The Compliance Delivery Lead will lead team of compliance delivery analysts to support and enable technology teams in developing and delivering solutions aligning with Compliance and Regulatory obligations for Heritage and People's Choice Bank (HPC).

The role will primarily focus on providing technical and Compliance leadership for staff within the Compliance and Assurance team, as well as acting as a SME for internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

- Provide compliance (regulatory, scheme) leadership and support to all activities within the team and across Digital Solutions.
- Produce and maintain artefacts to support compliance obligations for the team and Digital Solutions.
- Collaborate with other compliance SME's to provide a community and understanding of compliance obligations and how to meet them.
- Observe all compliance related obligations.
- Ensure solutions conform and comply with all relevant Heritage Bank standards and compliance guidelines and policies.
- Be accountable for the accuracy, quality and currency of all material that is used for compliance assurance.
- Be familiar with Bank, scheme and prudential standards and how they relate to the activities that the team are undertaking.

**About you**

Whilst being hands on when required, you are more focused on ensuring quality across various programs of work, technical solutions, and leading team members. You play a key role in providing technical support and leadership to teams across DS while also acting as a consultant to project teams from a Risk and Compliance lens.
- Demonstrable knowledge of compliance and assurance activities, i.e. control testing, audits etc.
- Ability to assess risks in accordance with the Operational Risk Management Framework
- Ability to manage large backlogs of work by prioritising and delivering these items
- Experience working with IT areas, and knowledge/understanding of IT.
- Strong knowledge of the importance of compliance and assurance

Qualifications and Experience:

- IT or Business degree equivalent relating to Compliance and Risk or,
- 10+ Years in an IT environment.
