**The Role**

As a publisher and content support officer, you will:

- create, review, publish and send ad hoc notifications
- provide content support including quality assurance and prepare work in GatherContent
- work effectively with IT, business and data teams to implement content projects
- work across a range of channels
- provide support to content leads, channel leads, director and mentoring less experienced staff.

**Skills and Capabilities**
We are seeking an individual with the following skills and capabilities:

- excellent attention to detail, organisational and administrative skills
- good understanding of HTML
- ability to work autonomously, using initiative and self-direction and in a team environment
- highly developed written and verbal communications skills
- excellent consultation and stakeholder management skills
- good data analysis skills
- ability to contribute to strategic planning and administration of the team
- provide mentoring and coaching to junior staff
- experience in writing, editing, structuring, and maintaining complex content that meets user needs (desirable)
- experience with content production and analysis software such as GatherContent (desirable).

**The Opportunity**
This position is available to Ongoing Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and APS employees as a temporary transfer at level or a temporary performance (Acting) opportunity for a period of 6 months.
