Medical Receptionist

We are looking for friendly, engaging medical receptionists with strong communication skills to join our professional and supportive team. The centre provides high quality general medical care to patients and families of all ages and demographics. Open 6 days a week. Only 25 minutes’ drive from Melbourne CBD. **Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Offer exceptional customer relations and customer service with our clientele
- Have an excellent phone manner
- Ability to triage, make appointments and communicate effectively
- Follow relevant policies and procedures
- Accurately produce and follow mixed practice billing procedures, including cash handling and Tyro/EFTPOS billing systems
- Be actively involved in practice Work, Health and Safety
- Assist with stock rotation and control measures
- Carry out courier duties as required
- Protect patient and practice privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Support the provision of consistent clinical care and be supportive to practice doctors, nurses and management
Previous experience in a medical practice would be an advantage, however not an essential requirement as full on the job training will be given.
You must be available at short notice, be able to work Saturdays/Sundays, must be flexible to cover weekday shifts.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10-25 per week
**Salary**: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
