Medical Receptionist/front Desk

Northend Medical is a Mixed-Billing clinic located in Epping, Victoria. We are after an energetic and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our large and supportive team of healthcare professionals.

Our practice is open on weekdays from 7am to 11pm, and on weekends from 9am to 6 pm, and we are looking for a team member to join us on selected weekdays and weekend shifts. We are ideally after an enthusiastic staff member for part time/ casual shifts and who is also available to cover shifts for existing staff members as needed by Northend Medical.

The role includes several duties which include (but are not limited to) appointment scheduling, patient check-in, billing & invoicing of appointments, correspondence management, and other administrative duties.

Applicants must have had at least 1-year experience in the Medical Reception field, with prior experience in Medical Director Pracsoft/Clinical software (although we are willing and able to supply training for those who have used Best Practice, or other software packages).

Knowledge of Medicare/Private billings is required and essential to the role.

Preferable to have knowledge of institutional billings and mixed billing also, but training can be provided if not.

Knowledge of Outlook is also essential to the role.

Knowledge of Word, Excel is also preferred

Knowledge of HotDoc is also preferred.
