**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Head of Customer Solutions & Delivery, this position is accountable for the safe operation of LPG assets and fleet through exceptional and demonstrable people leadership that encourages a positive and inclusive workplace culture

You will be accountable for driving the performance of your team and regional centres to ensure that our customers receive the best in industry customer experience, whilst balancing your costs.

You will be accountable for leading our Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Fulfillment and provide day to day guidance in line with meeting agreed business objectives.

As the leader essentially responsible for manufacturing and production strategies and initiatives, your responsibility will be to lead, coach and steer the team towards meeting exceptional customer service outcomes.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Demonstrated ability to implement lean principles and drive process improvements, resulting in increased operational efficiencies and reduced waste
- Through collaborative leadership, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of positive site cultures and team engagement, underpinned by Origin’s key Principles, Values and Commitments
- Cost control and P&L accountability
- Ensuring all business metrics are met from the assets - financial, production, delivery, maintenance, learning and safety
- Lead continuous improvement across all assets and drive throughput, performance, process safety and customer delivery metrics
- Build, develop, and empower a capable regional leadership team, providing a balance of direction and autonomy
- Establish and regularly review the Operations Business plan, budgets, and results measurements
- Prepare and submit the capital equipment recommendations, process changes and building improvements
- Deliver production and on-time delivery outcomes to target across all asset locations
- Manage and execute key Operational Projects as identified by management team

**ABOUT YOU**

We’re after someone who has a proven track record of team collaboration, leadership, and safety-first focus you will have the great ability to positively influence your team and a minimum 5-10 years’ experience in Business, Finance, Engineering or similar.

There is an expectation that you will have the ability to coach, motivate, and lead change across the workforce, and it is not necessary for be you to be a technical or industry expert, but more of the leader who knows how to manage critical obligations and achieve results.

You will be expected to influence change, communicate the benefits of change, and ensure that it is understood throughout the group, through to the front line execution.

An organised and structured leader with the ability to prioritise work and meet all essential deadlines.

- Significant experience of leading and coaching multi-location technical teams and contractors
- Exceptional and demonstrable people leadership to drive a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Managing regional EBIT performance, Budget, and Capital Investment to meet business unit targets
- Capability to step up to the Customer Solutions & Delivery Team as required
- Demonstrable experience of managing maintenance management systems and or processes
- Experience in a supply chain, shipping or logistics environment would be advantageous
- Ability to evaluate and improving processes to manage assets and their ongoing maintenance
- Support the development of S&OP’s and integrated business planning
