**Payroll/HR Officer - Manufacturing - Parramatta**

**Position Description**

As a Payroll/HR Officer, the duties that would be required include but are not limited to:

- Complying with relevant awards and legislation
- Preparation and payment of PAYG tax, Payroll tax, Superannuation Guarantee contributions
- Processing new employee's contracts and terminations (from a payroll perspective)
- Assisting with month-end reporting
- Answering general payroll enquiries, including advice on awards, policies, etc.
- Maintaining employee personal records i.e. pay slips, leave requests, and other records

**Your Background**

To be considered for this opportunity, our client is looking for someone with:

- Experience interpreting awards and legislations
- 2+ years of experience as a Payroll Officer
- Experience in HR
- Able to work in a professional and fast-paced setting
- Knowledge and experience with Micropay
- Great communication skills
