**About the Company**

This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 3-month contract paying up to $60/Hour + Super. This role is located in Parramatta/ WFH

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a Payroll Officer with a leading NSW Government agency. The Payroll Officer is responsible for delivering accurate and efficient payroll processing and advice. A big focus will be on Superannuation, Salary Packaging and Parental Leave.

Key accountabilities include:

- Perform payroll transactions relevant to the operations of the functional area at a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Tasks include record creation, entering, processing, checking and extracting data for reporting purposes and record archiving. These tasks must be performed in accordance with agreed operating procedures.
- Provide information and guidance to internal customers on matters relating to the functional area, ensuring that information supplied is accurate, relevant and resolves the request efficiently. Enquiries may be a result of an identified issues or discrepancies, or requests for information for reporting or audit purposes.

**About You**
- Efficiency in payroll processes through SAP Systems
- 4 + years’ experience in a payroll position
- Previous gov experience beneficial.
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
