**About the role **- Permanent Full-Time**

Be an integral part of a high performing, energetic and client focused team who are passionate about making real changes for young people.

As a Workforce Coordinator, you’ll coach and develop our Support Workers who provide tailored and trauma informed care to children and young people under the Guardianship of the Chief Executive in a Department of Child Protection (DCP) Residential Care Facility.

Each day you’ll support your team through reflective individual and group supervision, incident debriefing and follow-up, training and professional development, and performance monitoring and management, further embedding Baptist Care SA’s Practice Framework.

This role also entails scheduling Support Workers in line with individual placement and client needs.
- Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:_
- Leadership and development of a group of skilled trauma informed support workers
- Ensure efficient service delivery consistent with contractual KPIs and time frames by providing a responsive supply of skilled Support Workers
- Maintain schedules and practises that align with service contracts, as well as industrial and award requirements
- Coordinate a 24/7 roster and review timesheets to ensure accurate payroll preparation
- Administrative and reporting tasks to meet service KPIs

**About you**:
As a confident multi-tasker, you thrive in fast paced environments and can think quickly on your feet. You excel at coaching and mentoring frontline staff to deliver therapeutic care to vulnerable and at-risk children and young people, with a strong understanding of the impacts of trauma.
- You will also have the following skills and experience:_
- Certificate IV in Youth Work, Community Services, Child Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant discipline
- Previous experience in working with vulnerable and at-risk children and young people with complex needs and/or a disability
- High level interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume workload

- Full unrestricted South Australia Driver’s Licence
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Clearance
- NDIS Worker Screening
- Approved Psychological Suitability Assessment
- Training: Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)
- Training: Safe Environments for Children and Young People (Through Their Eyes)
- Ability to work outside of normal office hours may be required
- Use of own vehicle and roadworthy certificate
