**Role Summary**:
The Business Support Coordinator is a newly created opportunity in our Thermal Asset Optimisation team based at our Perth CBD office.

The purpose of the Business Support Coordinator is to deliver services across Thermal Generation (TG) relating to business strategic planning and corporate services programs such as supporting TG to coordinate the annual budget cycle, organising TG specific industry forums such as the HSE contractor forum, Engineering forum, and promoting TG activities and initiatives throughout the business and external to Synergy.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Provide oversight and alignment of the TG business unit strategic priorities in relation to the corporate strategy and operational projects
- Support the coordination and implementation of business strategic planning and corporate services programs within TG, to ensure an align approach
- Coordinate TG specific forums such as the HSE contractor forum and engineer’s forum
- Support the development of TG annual business plans and TG contribution to the corporate strategy
- Assist the Executive General Manager Thermal Generation to manage TG progress and performance through coordinating meetings and workshops, and the preparation of materials to assist

**What you’ll bring**:

- Experience managing corporate project portfolios of work
- Experience coordinating and facilitating forums
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Significant experience with managing varied stakeholders
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with experience establishing priorities, allocating resources and meeting team commitments
