We are on the lookout for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. We are a leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art electric buses based in St Marys and we are growing

We are on the lookout for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. We are a leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art electric buses based in St Marys and we are growing

Reporting to the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager this role is responsible for maintaining and replenishing inventory levels in addition to working with all departments within the business to ensure sufficient stock levels at all times.

**What will you be doing?**

A typical day in this role will see you working closely with the Warehousing, Procurement and Supply Chain Teams to ensure stock levels are maintained and orders are delivered in a timely manner. You will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure product quality and competitive pricing. Researching potential new vendors and managing freight costs will also be required.

- A stable and reliable working history
- Procurement planning experience
- Experience identifying and evaluating potential suppliers
- Inventory management experience.
- Supplier relationship management experience.
- Quality control experience.
- Experience engaging contractors to maintain, repair or install infrastructure within approved delegations.
- 2-3 years' experience working within a similar role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St Marys Sydney, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
