**Your new company**

The department is seeking an Advocacy and Engagement Officer to support the Environmental Contamination Advice and Standards program of work. The role will involve work to support the technical advice team to manage key stakeholder relationships, including Commonwealth entities, internal stakeholders, and state and territory environment regulators.

**Your new role**
- Engage new and existing Commonwealth entities participating in the program
- Support stakeholder engagement activities with all internal and external stakeholders
- Design and draft communications and engagement products to support the program of work
- Ability to work with others to develop creative and practical team-based solutions

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Work experience or studies in earth sciences, ecotoxicology, chemistry, or relevant environmental or human health disciplines is preferred
- Work in a similar previously
- Ability to obtain a Baseline clearance
