**One of our partners in the utilities indutry is currently looking for a People Services - Project Lead**

**Purpose**:

- Scope, manage and deliver a diverse range of key people projects to ensure customer-centric service excellence of the organization’s People Operational Services and to facilitate a positive employee lifecycle experience for all leaders and employees
- Operating cross functionally across the teams within the People and Transformation portfolio and working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, this role will creatively and collaboratively define, plan for and deliver complex improvement projects ensuring quality and compliance
- This role will be instrumental in optimising, streamlining, and aligning intuitive People Operational Services processes across the portfolio, to enable integrated and seamless delivery
- This role will build and maintain strong working relationships and act as a trusted advisor for all the leaders and employees

**Accountabilities**:

- Project Lead the development, evaluation, and communication of new and innovative approaches to address complex organisational issues relating to the delivery of high-quality People Operational Services
- Act as the primary point of contact for the organization’s People Services Projects, including acting as conduit between internal and external business stakeholders
- Manage the implementation of People Operational Services enhancements to improve practices, processes, efficiency, and the user experience. Lead and support project execution from solution design through to go-live and beyond
- Work with the People Services Leadership Team to identify continuous improvement opportunities and ensure all core People Services processes & procedures are repeatable, scalable, and measurable with a strong focus on end-user experience
- Ensure documented management and control procedures are in place and regularly reviewed Provide mentoring and guidance to People Services Advisors to ensure understanding and adaption of improvements implemented
- Build, maintain and strengthen stakeholder relationships to ensure the ongoing delivery of exceptional People Services to required standards
- Taking care of own and colleagues Health and Safety through identification and reporting of hazards and active involvement in improvement initiatives

**Responsibilities**:

- Project management, execution and governance of People Services operational projects and new initiatives
- Build and maintain cross functional stakeholder relationships to enable the ongoing delivery of exceptional People Services to required standards
- Analyse and monitor core People Services processes & procedures to ensure quality & compliance to required standards, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and potential barriers to delivering a superior employee experience
- Provide clear and consistent advice, support and information to all leaders and employees on People related matters to enable effective service delivery and enhanced way of working
- Support and mentor People Services Advisors and work collaboratively to achieve superior People Services outcomes

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- Strong Project experience with demonstrated capability in delivering defined outcomes
- Significant demonstrated generalist experience in a range of People services
- Experience with and knowledge of HRIS, including CHRIS21 and Cornerstone desirable
- Significant knowledge of workplace People policies and procedures including the ability to review and develop People policies and procedures to ensure they are best practice and are in line with current legislation
- Strong operational process experience and ability to track and record activity to monitor for performance and improvement opportunities.
- Relevant experience in Employee Relations intervention and management with demonstrated ability in supporting ER case work.
- Superior communication skills and a high level of customer service orientation when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in managing People Services projects including events, improvements, and initiatives
- Knowledge of the organization’s Enterprise Agreement(s)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders where required
- Ability to deal professionally with confidential issues
- Ability to handle significant workloads, meeting targets within tight deadlines and competing priorities
- Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
- Committed team player with an enthusiastic and dynamic approach, demonstrating exceptional organisational abilities with a high level of flexibility Advanced Microsoft Office and IT skills
