**What You Will Be Doing**

The porter role is predominantly responsible for transporting sub-acute inpatients to and from allied health individual and group sessions. There is also a range of other duties that will contribute to providing a safe and supported environment for patients, visitors and staff.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Certificate III in Patient Services Assistance or Certificate III in Health Service Assistance - or equivalent
- Experience working in a health care setting
- Ability to work as an effective member of a team
- Experience with and competence in safely transferring patients from bed/chair to wheelchair (desirable)
