Reporting to and working closely with the Group Marketing & Communications Manager, the Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator will be primarily responsible for the delivery of marketing initiatives and the Wests Group Macarthur Community Engagement Strategy as well as;
- Contribute to the Club’s marketing strategy
- Assisting in the database management of our increasing ClubGRANTS Contributions via ClubGRANTS online
- Identifying, initiating, and deepening relationships with various internal and external stakeholders including management team, Board of Directors, members, community partners, corporates
- Management of an annual schedule of Community Engagement activities including the delivery of community-based programs, partnerships, events, and fundraising initiatives
- Attendance at community meetings and relevant events on behalf of Wests Group Macarthur
- The development of Wests community communications including digital, social media, LinkedIn, e-newsletters, and printed materials
- The development of Press Releases and media opportunities
- Planning, implementation, and activation of various community events both internal and external - including sometimes on weekends
- Assisting with the ongoing development and promotion of both the Wests Group Macarthur Brand and Wests Community Brand Position “For Macarthur”
- Implementing meetings, surveys, and other ways of communicating with, and receiving feedback from the community
- Supporting the overall marketing team in the delivery of venue marketing activities

**The successful applicant will have**:

- A confident, dynamic, and positive disposition
- Experience and success working in partnership with stakeholders, community organisations and partnering agencies
- Ability to communicate and interact appropriately with various stakeholders including members, community organisations, government organisations, media, political groups
- Strong event co-ordination skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including copywriting and proof reading and ability to tailor communication style to influence and suit various audiences
- Ability to work both independently with mínimal supervision, and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to strategise, implement and analyse effectiveness of community engagement activity
- Full drivers’ licence and use of own car
- Previous Club experience and involvement with ClubGRANTS would be advantageous
- Experience with marketing platforms including ADOBE suite, Illustrator, WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp advantageous
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Qualifications in Marketing/Sales/Community Engagement or studying in relevant field
