**About the role**:
Challenger is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and results driven full time overnight cleaning supervisor to join our team. We take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and customers. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Overnight Cleaning Supervisor** to lead and motivate our night cleaning team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Available to work across Monday-Friday - 10pm to 6am
- Supervise and support overnight cleaning staff across assigned areas
- Train new staff and enforce safety protocols
- Ensure the cleanliness of all designated areas
- Assist your teammates in maintaining a safe and clean workplace environment
- Ensuring facilities look their best by using our proven cleaning methods and adhering to safety standards at all times
- Following schedules and standard operating procedures (SOP's)
- Communicate effectively with management and day staff to ensure seamless operations
**About you**:
You are a reliable and experienced cleaning professional who leads by example and ensures high standards are consistently met during overnight shifts. With strong communication and problem-solving skills, you motivate your team and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, you bring with you:
- A reliable personal vehicle is essential, as the worksite is not accessible via public transportation
- Demonstrated experience in supervising commercial cleaning operations
- Strong ability to work independently while effectively managing a team
- A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in operating commercial cleaning equipment
- Solid understanding and adherence to safe work practices
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their correct, safe usage
