Manager, Cabinet and Parliamentary Services

The Cabinet and Parliamentary Services Unit is seeking a Manager to join the leadership team of the Unit who can lead and guide the team through a period of change.
The role will suit a team player that wants to foster and lead a positive and collaborative workplace environment, and wants to lead improvements to our systems and processes.
Reporting to the Director, Cabinet and Parliamentary Services, you will provide high level policy advice on a broad range of complex executive government and cabinet issues. You will provide active team leadership and direction to the Cabinet and Parliamentary Services Team and have a strong client focus. You will facilitate and coordinate the flow of information and will be required to showcase your strong interpersonal and communications skills.
The successful person
To be successful in this role you will have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the functions, operations, and procedures of contemporary executive government, including Cabinet, Executive Council and Parliament. You will have proven high-level written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills as well as analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to provide advice on policy and operational issues of a complex nature.
In addition to this, you will have the proven ability to communicate with influence, interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to cultivate productive working relationships and networks.
