Accounts Receivable Specialist

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented individual with a passion for managing financial transactions and maintaining a healthy cash flow? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Brisbane.

**Role Overview**:
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for the meticulous management of customer invoices and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments. Your role will involve interacting with clients, monitoring payment due dates, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless invoicing processes and assist in optimizing our cash flow.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Generate and send accurate invoices to clients based on agreed-upon terms.
- Monitor and track customer accounts, ensuring payments are received on time.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with clients to follow up on overdue payments and negotiate payment plans if necessary.
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports for management review.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline invoicing and collections processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interactions.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) but not essential.
