An outline of the Opportunity Jewish Care Victoria, a not-for-profit organisation, is the largest provider of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria. Our services including Residential and Community Aged Care, Family and Youth Support Services, Disability, Mental Health, and Holocaust Survivors Programs. The Senior HR Business Partner role that exists with Jewish Care is an extremely important role that will set at the centre of our People and Culture team. The position will work strategically with the business units within Jewish Care to ensure that the experience of our people, both internal and external stakeholders, have the best service and experience with Jewish Care as is possible.
- The savvy energetic professional we seek for this role will be required to;
- Build effective and transparent working relationships with Jewish Care managers, providing support, guidance, and mentoring as it pertains to the strategic development and growth of their individual teams.
- Provide guidance on best practice as it pertains to ER/IR matters, dispute resolution, performance improvement and performance management, ensuring these matters are dealt with in line with Jewish Care policy and procedure.
- Plan, develop, and execute processes that will maximise the employee experience and in turn add value to Jewish Care as an organisation.
- Developing plans that will improve Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, and general process improvement as recognised and required.
- Formal qualification in Human Resources or related field, or extensive experience in HR Business Partner or significant experience in a similar HR Business Partnering roles, preferably within Aged Care/Community Services
- Employee Relations and case management experience, inclusive of conduct and performance management
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work flexibly within a team-based environment
- Experience and knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
